Our Story
The story of April Rain Dance Academy began 2003 when a group of passionate young individuals gathered with a shared dream: to create a unique and vibrant dance academy. They chose "Spring Rain Nurtures, Blossoms Along the Path" as the name of the academy, symbolizing the vitality of spring and the nourishment of rain, signifying that every student would thrive and blossom like flowers under its guidance.​The founding purpose of the academy was to inherit Chinese culture, teaching Chinese dance, and improving children's basic skills and acrobatic techniques. As time passed, the academy gradually expanded its curriculum, introducing diverse cultural dance forms such as K-pop, jazz, ballet, and more, to cater to the interests and needs of different students.​Today, APRIL RAIN DANCE ACADEMY is not only a dance academy but also a dance family that embraces multiculturalism. We encourage students not only to learn dance techniques but also to understand the cultural connotations behind them, integrating the essence of Chinese culture into every dance step.
